How to download Threads videos
Downloading from Threads takes about ten seconds. Here is the full walkthrough, including the format options available for each kind of post.
1. Copy the Threads post link
In the Threads app or on threads.com, open the post, tap the share icon and choose “Copy link”. On desktop you can also copy the URL straight from the address bar.
2. Paste and fetch
Return to the homepage, paste the link into the search field and press Download. Our fetcher tries several extraction methods in sequence — embedded media JSON first, then the embed endpoint, then OpenGraph tags — so photos, single videos and thumbnails all resolve reliably.
3. Pick your format and quality
The result panel shows a live preview on the left and format tabs on the right: Video (1080p, 720p, 480p, original MP4), Audio (source sound track) and Image (all photo sizes and thumbnails). Use the quality selector or the quick-pick buttons.
4. Watch the progress and save
