Threads Video Downloader (“we”, “the service”) is a free tool that lets you download publicly available media from Threads posts. This page explains what data is involved when you use the service and how it is handled. We are not affiliated with Threads or Meta Platforms, Inc.

2. Links you paste

When you submit a Threads post link, our server fetches that public page to locate the media files it contains. The link is used only to complete your request. We do not build a profile of the links you submit, and we do not sell or share them.

3. Media files

Downloads are streamed through our fetcher directly to your browser. Files are not written to permanent storage on our servers and no copy of your download is retained after the transfer finishes.

4. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider processes standard technical request data such as IP address, browser type, referring page and timestamps. This data is used for security, abuse prevention and aggregate performance monitoring.

5. Cookies and local storage

We store your light/dark theme preference in your browser's local storage. This value never leaves your device. Advertising and analytics partners may set their own cookies as described below.

6. Google AdSense and third-party advertising

This site displays ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this or other websites.
